Microenterprises play a fundamental role in the economic development, but they have to depend on credit, many of them present difficulties in finding ways of financing. In Colombia, more than one million micro, small and medium enterprises are estimated, which represent 90% of the country's companies, produce more than 28% of gross domestic product and employ more than 67% of the national workforce, where 75% are microenterprises, 24 % small and medium and 1% large company¿. Unfortunately, small and medium enterprises are exposed to risks that go against their stability, which is reflected in their average life: 5 years microenterprises and 12 years small and medium enterprises, while large companies have an average of 18 years.
The micro, small and medium enterprises have needs that are grouped into five categories: economic situation, finance, marketing and sales, human talent and technology.
Coomeva, within its strategic plan 2020 - 2024, estimates to strengthen the Entrepreneurs and Microentrepreneurs market, with the definition of an offer of products / services, designing an accompaniment program for the entrepreneur and microentrepreneur who seeks to help him develop his projects through a technological tool and a group of mentors who guide the experience with their knowledge, seeking to boost their dreams and make them attractive to different types of financing. Within the program there are three important: Coomeva: with the transversal support for the development and continuity of the projects of the Entrepreneurs and Microentrepreneurs, through their companies, particularly the Coomeva Foundation; the Community of Associates: from the collaborative concept, this community can fulfill three (3) roles, The Business Angels, the Mentor and as a Provider; Allies: Companies or institutions that leverage the development of the projects, these can be: Universities, financing entities, chambers of commerce, etc.
